Technique 1 makes a circle of blush on your cheek, while number 2 defines your cheekbones!

Technique 1 should be the blush

Technique 2 should be the contour.

Contour is done with a bronzer or brownish shade.

This gives you that chiseled appearance of gorgeous cheek bones.

A little highlighter on the very top of your apple will enhance it further.

Nothing really.. It just depends on how you want to apply the makeup, I guess.
Possibly technique 2 is for people with good cheek bones, while tech. 1 might be for people who don’t have so great cheek bones.
But then again, it probably just depends on the person.
Because I have gotten my makeup done professionally many times, and both techniques have been used on me.

Technique no. 1 will give you a nice glow. This technique will be used if you really want to define your cheeks.

Technique no. 2 will just define your cheek bones. I normally use a bronzer for this one.
