Pls. tell me if i’m doing the right thing about putting make-up..first i put on my maybelline gel foundation all over my face then after a few seconds i apply my blush-on my eye shadow, then after that i put on my final powder for finish..and i put on my lipstick eye mascara…am i doing the right procedure? pls advice me if there’s something wrong…thanks

sounds about right, but first,don’t forget to use some kind of moisturizer! because after awhile, your skin might start peeling and get really dry!
Foundation, Powder/Bronzer, Blush, Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, THEN Mascara…then your lips.

yeah girl its right, it dont really matter, i put my coverup,mascara, eyeliner,and last but not least my lip glloss and im out the door!! takes me 5minutes, u know u can never look too good!!!

there is no right way or order to put on makeup. however, i would recommend eyeshadow, eyeliner, then mascara. after, foundation, powder, then blush. lips should be last.

You’re doing everything right, but you should put your powder on before your blush.
This is what makeup artists have recommended to me:
1) Foundation
2) Concealer
3) Powder
4) Blush
5) Eyeshadow
6) Eyeliner
Mascara, lipstick, whatever else you do….
If your blush is too red, then you may want to put the powder on after…but you should also then try looking for a new blush.
I’ve also heard it suggested that you do your eyes first, so that if any shadow falls onto your cheek, then you can remove it without ruining your face.
So, I guess whatever works for you, the most important is getting the foundation, concealer, powder, blush order.

First use a moisturizer, then foundation, powder and blush. This will give you a good base to work with. Next do the eyes; eyeshadow, then eyeliner and lastly mascara. Then do the lips.
Actually, you should do the eyemakeup before you do the foundation just in case you mess up.
But aside from that, that seems like the perfect order.
Moisturize first. This helps build a shield between your skin and foundation so your pores are less likely to become clogged. It also helps skin retain moisture. Other than that it sounds like you have the right idea.
You are doing fine, but do you really need that much? inner beauty is what counts my dear. I am sure that with just eye shadow and eye liner would be just fine. And make sure you are using makeup that is not tested on animals.

If i can recommend, before anything a very important procedure is PRIMER!
It will make your makeup go on smoother, and make it last much much longer before it starts to fade.

What I always do is put on LipChap (so your lips are soft), then a lip gloss. Uh, you might want to do this AFTER brushing your teeth, as I learnt the hard way… Then, I always apply eye shadow, then eye liner (if any), and THEN mascara. I finally apply the face make-up… blush, foundation, ect. This prevents it from getting smudged while you’re doing your lips and eyes…
