Hi, I have a round face and it makes me look like I’m about ten years old. I know that using blush on your cheekbones helps, but I don’t know how to apply it so it does just that. Got any ideas?
Thanks!

i usually use bronzer on my cheeks. i smile and apply the bronzer where my cheekbones are. you can also go to a makeup counter and ask them what to do, theyll know :)

either use a bronzer or use foundations of a darker shade near your jaw to cheek area…
cant really tell you how to do it.
it’s better that you go to a make up counter and get them to do it for you.

A round face can be ‘lengthened’ with hair to make it appear more oval. Part the hair on the side and have hair around your ears and temple areas. Long wavy hair is ideal to balance out a round face. And you’re right, applying blush to your cheekbones with a bit of a sexy tilt can make you seem mature and sophisticated instead of ten years old. Keep on dressing your age and then the face-making-you-seem-ten-years-old thing won’t matter anymore. Good luck!

bronzer on the cheekbones and around the jaw line for a more defined jaw, also try and maybe get a different hair cut too

Use a slightly darker foundation, bronzer, and/or powder along the sides of your face to make it appear more narrow. If you go to the marykay.com web site, you can find the directions for that and for many other tips to bring out your own personal beauty.

I too am blessed with a round face. To elongate my face I use both hair and make up techniques. For my hair I agree the loose curls framing your face do work, but also you can try the infamous poof hair style by teasing your bangs and then pinning them back into a poof. This creates a lengthening effect. For makeup, choose a blush or a bronzer that works for your skin tone and then blush from the outer corners of your mouth to your temple.

I hope this works!
