i bought cover girl’s ‘exact eyelights’ for blue eyed people. i have HUGE blue eyes, and i put it on, and it’s just black.
so naturally i was pretty mad, but then i thought,’well, what if that’s the best color for blue eyes? maybe green is brown.. or something’.
so i wanted to know, i wear brown eyeshadow, and black liner. i wear pinky pink blush, because since i’m so pale, it looks good. especially with blue eyes.
am i doing good?

The cover girl eye lights turns blue in the sun. My friend said the same thing and when she went outside I was like: JoJo it IS blue!
And brown and gold tinted eye shadow will really bring out your blue eyes. (I have them too.) also wearing bright blue shirts, as most people know, really makes them pop. And dont wear too much pink with pale skin, you’ll look like your trying to hard, try pink-ish tinted tan blushes, they look more natural. Hope I helped!

Black is the best or dark brown if you have blonde hair.

I have brown eyes and sometimes I use navy mascara. It makes my eyes look more open and makes the white part look whiter. I don’t see why it wouldn’t look good no matter what your eye color is. I really think it looks good if you’re wearing a white top. It just looks neat and fresh.

Yeah I think black mascara is best for blue eyed ppl like me and u

CatalinaChica on 31 July, 2009 at 8:18 am #

hey :)

yeah i think that seems good i think as long as your make up looks natural then the way you described what you use seems right.

i have darker skin than what you seem to have being half spanish, but i also have blue eyes and find that black mascara definately works best as it really defines your eyes.

however the colour mascara that you use is not decide by eye colour in fact hair colour is the most important blonde-light brown-red use brown mascara and any thing darker should use black :)

hope that helps

Honestly, go for black.
with brown to me it looks too natural.
it’s just not my sense of style.
i love having thoes dramatic awesome lashes.
but no clumpy,
i love it when it’s visable.
you definitly need to go for black.
that covergirl stuff, is just their opinion not yours.
for the natural look it’s :brown
for that no so natural look: black.

good luck!

that all sounds good. Most colored mascara doesn’t look any different from regular mascara.

Use Exact Eyelights by Cover Girl. There’s one for blue eyes, and it’ll bring out the color of your eyes.

Avoid anything black it`s too harsh on you.

Avoid any blue eye make up matching distracts, and the blue eyes will blend into the eye make up.

Grey is for everyday, and if you get bored try the brown.

Purples, Plums, Pinks and violets are fantastic for an evening look.

Dark shimmery olive greens, and grass greens (that have nothing to do with blue), are lovely for a fantasy high fashion look.

Golden browns are beautiful for a summer look after applying the fake tan.

Hope that helped.

Good Luck.

Good Bye.

Yeah I normally wear black mascara and I have blue eyes as well. The mascara may have an extremely dark brown color to it that may be too dark to tell.

If you want to enhance your blue eyes even more, go for a bronzey-gold color. My favorite for my eyes is MAC in Woodwinked and the Maybelline Eyeshadow Trio in Bronze Glitz. For a subtle effect, dip a wet liner brush in the shadow and paint a line instead of eyeliner, and top with a light, shimmer shadow. This will make your eyes super blue and pop! Curl your lashes for extra time and add a lot of mascara too.

Hope this helps!

i have the same mascara for my blue eyes and it’s not black, if you look at the wand very closely you can tell that there are some sapphire blues in it… and although that’s the proper color for my eyes, i get the eyelights for hazel eyes because i love gold. bronze and browns compliment blue eyes best.
