a solid foundation (or lightening cream mixed with baby powder for the pale, emo look)
# lipstick followed by lip-gloss
# black eyeliner (not too thick, but make it visible, rim your eyes and extend a wing from the corner, don’t smudge)
# dark or contrast eyeshadow
# LOTS OF MASCARA

good luck!!

apply a shade of foundation that is *slightly* lighter than your own skin…and then dust your face lightly with the same shade of powder….then, use a non-sparkly rose or pink shade of blush – applying it to the apples of your cheeks only….then apply a matching shade of lipstick that again, isn’t sparkly…finally, apply a light coating of dark mascara to the upper lashes only (soft black works very well).

1. apply some Primer.

2. use a liquid foundation on your face. (i reccomend covergirl trublend)

3. in order to be a doll, you need blush! its very important. (try covergirl trublend blush that matches your foundation) trublend is a love for me lol!

4. apply LOTS AND LOTS of mascara in black. try maybelline colossal it works really good. skip eyeliner. it may define your eyes but dolls have wide open eyes and eyeliner certainly does not help with that.

5. last but not least, try a nude gloss. i dont have reccomendations for you on this one sorry. but its everywhere. i know NARS makes some.

wear bare minerals makeup(or any powder). just the foundation and a little of the warmth (bronzer) and a little blush along the hallows of your sheeks (right below the cheek bones). curl your lashes and put glossy black mascara. that should pull it off.

oh and a little color on the lips.

Bare Minerals is way too sheer to provide a doll-like coverage unless you want to pile on 5 layers. You would want to go with something with full-coverage in terms of foundation.

okay, i wouldn’t suggest for you to use a lighter shade of foundation though you want this doll like look.. if you dont have a porcelain skin then worked on your eyes cheeks instead in achieving your desired look. trust me, with wrong foundation specifically lighter than your skin will make you cakey or you’ll end up looking like a geisha (unless you really want to look like that) as for my advice, the key in achieving this look is first, right foundation for your skintone, illuminator (one that can get you glowing not sparkly glittery) then for your eyes i would suggest a combo of pinks browns just to accentuate it, line with a dark brown eyeliner if you can know how to wear a falsies then it’d be better. for cheeks, use a pink-plum or peachy pink shade to make them pop, smile apply the blush in the apples of your cheeks (dont over blush). lastly, finish your look with a pink pale gloss. this will give you an enticing innocent look. dont fake on what you dont have, instead, work on what you do have! goodluck;)
