Why not put it on and show her? BUT as a Mom myself, I’m wondering how old you are.
just ask the worst she can do is say no
show your mom that you can put makeup on skillfully…
it’s not the number of products which you apply..but how you apply it.
good looking make up …always enhances the woman ..so you notice her..more than the makeup…
try neutral eyeshadows.
soft pink, peach, rose coloured blushes
makeup in good taste..will always be in style.
All you need is Eye Liner and Mascara, trust me your eyes will look beautiful but make sure you dont have gluggy mascara
Make sure it looks natural. But suggest you guys go get makeovers at the mall. She will love spending time hanging out with you so she will totally go for it. Then they will show you the right colors and way to apply it so she will know you wont look trashy. Plus she will get to see it on you so she will wont be so scared. Just stay away from mac they are to over the top for trying to convince your mom.
Why do you need to make up your entire face? You’re just 13. I think your mom just wants you to concentrate on your studies and not worry too much about what make up you should wear. Study first, make up can come later.
just put it on and dont worry about what she reckons
I think you should try it out to see how it looks and then ask her and demonstrate that you can responsibly put on more makeup!
Remember that most beauty tips are generated by the beauty industry. They want to sell you stuff. Don’t wear makeup unless it’s to cover a blemish or when you get older and want to hide signs of aging. Makeup ages your skin, believe me. I know women from 50 to 70 who have better skin than a lot of 30 year olds cause they wore a minimum of the stuff. Your skin is alive, let it breath.
Most mom`s are over-protective with makeup but if you ask little by little they might say yes but don`t ask can i where this and that every day! Be smart and also show your mom you can be responsible with make up and other things. Show her that you are growing up!
Find a picture in a magazine of a teen that looks clean, but natural with soft gentle colors…one where she is wearing makeup, but it’s not really obvious that she is. Show the picture to your mom—If she sees that you’re not trying to look outrageous and load up on bold colors it might make her more comfortable with the idea.
I think it might be a good idea to ask your mom if you could get makeup like that for your 14th birthday since it is right around the corner.
Good luck!
